Annie's Baptism

Annie decided to be baptized. It was such a wonderful day. The Spirit was so strong. We loved having so many family and friends there to encourage Annie and show her how important they believe baptism is. It was a busy morning for Mommy setting up the luncheon, but things worked out ok in the end.
Annie was nervous about the baptism. She and Daddy practiced a lot at home. When she came out of the font she was just glowing - and couldn't stop shivering.
After the luncheon we took some family pictures
Grammy and Grampy Hall
Puna and Papa Wanner
Mommy, Daddy, Tommy, Joey, Annie, Lily
 Elle, Annie, and Eden
 Drake, Jasmine, Annie, Amanda, Gabriel
The Pugmires - Danielle, Elyse, Elle, Annie, Eden, Elijah, Emren, Ethan, David
Annie got a blanket to remind her of the Holy Ghost, a set of scriptures, a scripture bag, a small hymn book, scripture marking pencils, and lots of love.

After friends and the Hall family left, we decided to go to Applebee's for dinner and try to squeeze in a game of bowling.
Days like this always make me wish we lived closer to our families. We had so much fun together.
Seeing all the cute personalities come out during the bowling game was really fun.
Baby LeLe let us get in all of our baby snuggles. She was a joy to hold an play with. We really appreciate everyone making the time to come see us and here here for Annie. She was looking forward to this day for a long time and it was everything she hoped it would be.
We pray Annie will have a joyful journey on the covenant path back to our Father in Heaven.

Halloween 2018

We started off Halloween festivities with our annual neighborhood Halloween parade. Mommy was gone at another event and Daddy took the kids and grandparents to the parade. Before the parade started Tommy collided with another kid and hit the pavement face first. He had a bloody nose and costume. Some neighbors let Tommy clean up at their house. It was very sad. Daddy has pictures on his phone that we haven't loaded to the computer so pictures from the parade will have to wait.

The kids did their own pumpkins this year. They turned out awesome. Annie's barfing zombie pumpkin was the family favorite this year.

It gets so windy here so our jack o lanterns blow out quickly. We need to figure out a way to shelter them so they can glow all Halloween night.

Mommy got to go to the annual Zumba Halloween party. It was 90 minutes of good exercise and fun. This year I also helped decorate the Zumba studio. Joey had fun running and dancing all around the huge floor while we put up the decorations.
On Halloween day Mommy and Joey helped in Annie's classroom party. It was so fun. We brought an eyeball relay game and a pumpkin bowling game. After school we visited Daddy's office and our pediatrics clinic for some early trick or treating.
We visited some families in the ward who live outside of our neighborhood before our neighborhood dinner and trunk or treat.
It was a windy chilly night. But that didn't stop the kiddos from their pursuit of candy.
After our neighborhood party ended, the boys went home with Daddy and the girls visited a vew more families in the ward.
Totally worth the extra trick or treating time. The girls were so proud of their haul.
Once we all had pajamas on, the kids started playing with their glow sticks from the neighborhood party. Who knew glow sticks could be so much fun. We all played together in the dark telling stories and doing tricks with the glow sticks. It was Mommy's unexpectedly favorite part of Halloween.
The kids went to bed that night so exhausted. Happy Halloween 2018. We just might make bed time glowsticks a Halloween tradition from now on.
