December 29, 2013 Part Two

We spent the rest of Christmas day resting and playing games.  We even squeezed in the movie "A Christmas Story" which gave everyone a good laugh.

Lots of playing in the snow and playing with cousins and new toys!

Fun family candy bar game.  Put on gloves and try to unwrap, cut and eat as much of the candy bar as you can before the person next to you rolls doubles on their dice and gets to take the candy away from you.  Annie got frustrated, but Lily had a good time!

Meredith, Becky and Wyatt sang us "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day".

Tommy got so much love and attention.  He misses his cousins and grandparents!

The day after Christmas we went into McCall to take the family ice skating.  It was the first time Lily and Annie had ever tried it.  Lily was a little nervous.  Annie was ready to hit the ice.  Grammy and Grampy helped Annie take her first few turns.  She loved just getting pulled along by any adult who would take her.

 My handsome nephews!

Annie skated and skated until she couldn't skate any more.  She was so cold, hungry, and tired by the time we were done.  She crashed in the car just one minute after strapping in and snuggling with her blanket.

Tommy was a great cheerleader from the sidelines.  We all took turns sitting with him and entertaining him.  We were so proud of Lily for being brave and giving skating a try.  She shed a few tears at first but was all smiles when it was time to go.

On the 27th Puna, Papa, and Brady arrived.  Papa brought snowmobiles to share with the Halls.  We spent Saturday taking turns on the snow machines and towing the kids around on the frozen lake.  What a great ending to the week. Saturday night Grammy and Grampy and Jared's family had to leave.  We stayed with the Wanners for another few days of fun!
